Why do cryogenic vials burst?
· Poor quality of cryogenic vials
· The cap of the cryogenic vial is not tightened, causing liquid nitrogen to penetrate into the interior of the cryogenic vial. When the cryogenic vial is taken out of the liquid nitrogen tank, the temperature inside the tube rises, the pressure of nitrogen accumulated in the cryogenic vial increases sharply. When the tube body cannot withstand the high pressure generated inside, it will rupture, causing the tube to burst.
How to solve?
· Try to avoid storing the cryovials directly in the liquid phase. Instead, place them in the gas phase, or freeze them directly in the refrigerator.
· You can choose internally rotating cryovials with good quality and good airtightness.
· When freezing, try to tighten the lid of the cryogenic vial.
Of course, choosing cryogenic vials with acceptable quality is the basis for avoiding tube explosion. Biologix cryogenic vials are made of medical-grade polypropylene and are available in various specifications such as 0.5ml, 1.0ml, 1.5ml, 2ml, and 5ml. Tube caps are available in 7 colors, and external and internal thread are available. Through multi-layer sealing design, they can effectively solve the problem of tube bursting for customers and ensure that customers can have a safe and secure use experience!
